It’s safe. It’s simple.
It’s convenient.
"The message of The Divine Mercy is simple. It is that God loves us – all of us. And, he wants us to recognize that His mercy is greater than our sins so that we will call upon Him with trust, receive His mercy, and let it flow through us to others. Thus, all will come to share His joy.
Join us after Masses as we pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet together.
We are grateful and thrilled to let you know that our pa-rishioners have already pledged $49,495 to the 2018 Cath-olic Appeal. This is 73% of our goal. If you have not pledged yet, we encourage you to do so. The Appeal sup-ports many programs of the Archdiocese and also pro-vides a rebate to our parish if a certain level of giving is reached. Find out more or even make an online pledge at BostonCatholicAppeal.org. Thank you!
SO THAT YOU MAY KNOW By Harry Feldmann, pastoral associate
In 1982 President Reagan proclaimed April to be the first NA-TIONAL CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH, and that tra-dition continues today. In 2002, the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People was implemented by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. There has been training for Church employees and volunteers throughout the country. The Dioceses are audited for compliance. Everyday we are planting the seeds of change within our dioceses. The goal is to create cultures of safety and recovery everywhere within the Church.
Here at St. Mary's there are many ministers who need to complete the Protecting God's Children's workshop. We will be scheduling these workshops in the next few months. The workshops are de-signed by VIRTUS of the National Catholic Risk Foundation. All of us can support these efforts particularly by the Prayer for Heal-ing composed by the Bishops for the Victims of Abuse:
God of endless love, ever caring, ever strong,
always present, always just; You gave your only Son
to save us by His Blood on the Cross.
Gentle Jesus, shepherd of peace, join to your own suffering
the pain of all who have been hurt in body, mind, and spirit
by those who betrayed the trust placed in them.
Hear the cries of our brothers and sisters
who have been gravely harmed, and the cries of those who love them,. Soothe their restless hearts with hope, steady their shaken spirits with faith,
Grant them justice for their cause, enlightened by your truth.
Holy Spirit, Comforter of hearts, heal your people's wounds
and transform brokenness into wholeness, Grant us the courage and wisdom,
humility and grace, to act with justice, Breathe wisdom into our prayers and labors,
Grant that all harmed by abuse may find peace in justice. We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

For Your Planning Purposes
We have designated the weekend of May 5/6 to pay
tribute to Fr. Wright before his retirement. There will be a reception following each Mass that weekend.
Please call or email the parish office if you would like to help host the Mass you attend: 617.696.0120 or
[email protected]. Thank you!
Saturday, May 5, we will have our annual Apprecia-tion dinner. If you are currently active in parish minis-
try, you will receive an invitation in the mail.
We are so excited to study Redeemed: A Tool for Sharing Your Sto-ry of Redemption. For 7 weeks, we will grow to understand the sig-nificance of telling the stories of what God has done in our lives.
For six weeks, we will be encouraged and equipped in the im-portance of sharing our stories — how we came to faith, how God redeemed our lives, and how He continues to write and shape our stories for His glory. We’ll read what the Bible says about it and hear examples from some of our friends about how God has used their stories in other people’s lives. And, together, we’ll practice sharing our stories.
And on week seven, we will come together to share a meal at an IF Table.
We hope you will join us and invite a friend from the parish! Please RSVP to Lisa at [email protected] or Joan at [email protected] Location of Study: 7 Fletcher Steele Way
Dates: Every Tuesday from April 3 through May 15th, 2018

Materials will be supplied.
God has written a unique, one-of-a-kind, for all-eternity story
with your life. Women are invited to join us in study on Tuesday
