Know Before You Go The pavilion at the Millpond Recreation Site day-use area has picnic tables sinks electricity and a large fireplace The spacious day-use area has a ball field horseshoe pits grills and restrooms with flush toilets and hot water The day-use area closes one-half hour after sunset If the site is not rented by a larger group there is no charge for the day-use area for groups under 25 people

For use of this fee site please contact the Roseburg Bureau of Land Management District Office for current rates and availability A separate permit for pavilion use requires a fee and refundable deposit for groups of 25 people or more Reservations can be made up to a year in advance

In addition to the day-use area Millpond Recreation Site offers 12 campsites in a forested setting on a first-come first-served basis All restrooms faucets pathways parking areas and all but one campsite are accessible to persons with physical disabilities A short nature trail on the west side of the campground as well as the one-mile Sawmill Trail to the east is wheelchair accessible Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash

Directions to the Site Go 22 miles east of Roseburg Oregon (6 miles east of Glide) on Highway 138 turn north on Rock Creek Road (78) and travel 5 miles The Millpond Recreation Site opens in early May and closes in early November A campground host is available for assistance Elevation is 1100 feet
