Millmatic III models are equipped with a CNC Z-axis Quill Kit (Standard), allowing 4½” of programmable (or manual) Z-axis quill travel. The quill kit incorporates a Servo motor and Ball Screw, and is provided with a Quick Disconnect on Standard models to enable manual use of the quill feed hand lever.
