Booth 24 Minecraft and Book Creator in Social Studies West Middle School: Amanda Scott, Cassidy Elliott, and David Culley In our Ancient Civilizations unit, students use “Minecraft” to create a Sumerian city-state, and create an ancient China textbook.

Booth 30 Team Canaveral Student News (TCSN) West Middle School: Doug Brown Can a group of students produce an online news program in a 45-minute class period? We do it every Friday on Team Canaveral. This is TCSN.

Booth 40 7th Science Saves the World! West Middle School: Jason Seaman, Caitlyn Garber, Emily Crapnell, and Julie Meyer Overpopulation contributes to environmental, social, & economic issues facing our planet. West 7th graders are helping make a difference!!

Room 1236: Presentation Time 7-7:30 p.m. and 7:30-8 p.m. The Tiger Team West Middle School: Julie Meyer Students used real world skills, their knowledge of genetics and community service to hopefully visit The Exotic Feline Rescue Center!

Booth 53 PLTW Gateway Programs West Middle School: Abbie Jones, Jeff Eastes, Clayton Osborne, and Brandon Crawford The Gateway courses at both middle schools allow students to engage in STEM related content at all 3 grade levels.

Booth 22 ESCAPE! East and West Middle Schools: Amy Boxberger, Abby Rose, Karen Thompson and Kerri Ziegler The purpose of our book club is to create a community of readers who want to share their excitement about books!

Booth 54 Middle School Robotics Club East and West Middle School: Jon Cooley, Brandon Crawford, and Doug Brown Middle school teams compete in robotics competitions. Students learn how to build and program robots to complete a variety of tasks.
