• From Mennonite Mission Network: David and Sophie Lapp Jost of Mennonite Mission Network live in Germany but were on the Greek island of Lesbos to witness more than 12,000 people displaced by a fire that burned a migrant camp. Pray that God’s people throughout the world will open their hearts to welcome as neighbors those who without

MCC asks for support for Central American hurricane recovery: Not one hurricane, but two hurricanes within two weeks have caused extensive flooding in Honduras, Guatemala and Nicaragua. Hurricanes Eta and Iota have destroyed crops and forced people from their homes. MCC is working with churches and community organizations to provide emergency food, hygiene supplies and cleanup support. Join us as we help these communities recover.

You can donate online at mcc.org/eta-iota-relief, by phone at (888)563-4676, or by mail at MCC, 21 S. 12th St., PO Box 500, Akron PA 17501

Ohio Comforter Bash Rescheduled The Ohio MCC Comforter Bash originally scheduled for April 2021 has been postponed for one year. In the meantime, we encourage you to continue making comforters for MCC in your homes or churches. These handmade comforters bring hope and comfort to the people who receive them. They provide not only warmth, but also a tangible message that their needs are not forgotten. We also invite you to continue making comforter tops and backs (60” x 80”), and we will collect them at the Material Resources Center in Kidron for the Ohio MCC Comforter Bash in April 2022.

Notes from today’s worship service

Thank You from the Family of Esther Yoder Millersburg Mennonite Church and Visitation Teams past and present, The family of Esther Yoder wishes to express our thanks for the spiritual home and launching pad you were for all of us! We are also so grateful for the persons visiting Mom, bringing news, connection, and encouragement to her when she could no longer attend services.

Be assured that when you minister to one person, you are also ministering to a whole extended family.

Many blessings! - Ellen Steffy, Carol Godshall, David Yoder, Steve Yoder

Thank You from Marcus Miller I would like to thank everyone for their prayers, cards, texts, phone calls, visits, emails. Also Keith and Rachelle. My dad's passing has been a struggle, and I am letting some things go. Just the presence of the church, and my faith has helped.

Call to worship Adapted from Isaiah 64:1, 6, 9; Psalm 80:3 Leader: O that you would tear open the heavens and come down, so that the

mountains would quake at your presence. People: Restore us, O God; let your face shine, that we may be saved. Leader: We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous

deeds are like a filthy cloth. People: Restore us, O God; let your face shine, that we may be saved. Leader: Do not remember our iniquity forever. (Light one Advent candle) All: Restore us, O God; let your face shine, that we may be saved.
