Typical  7th  Grade  Schedule

•  7 Classes/Subjects Daily •  5 Core Classes-Math, Science,

English, Social Studies, and PE/Health •  2 Encore classes (electives) •  An Encore/elective MIGHT include a

math or reading intervention class •  30 minute lunch time

Social  Studies

•  7th grade students in World History (1st semester) and Washington State History (2nd semester).

•  Students take Washington State History in 7th grade as a high school graduation requirement.

•  The CBA (Classroom Based Assessment) for this grade compares a pair of Washington State tribes.

Special  Services  

•  Supporting students based on their individual needs with reading, writing, and math

•  Some students might only be monitored by their case manager- others might see a special services teacher 3 to 4 class periods a day
