THE OBESITY:The obesity is one of the major problems of the world.

the human being besides whom I change his nomadic life to sedentary, nowadays his supply has met affected by the industrialization, the facilismo and to think more about

flavor than about supply.a bit more than 45 % of the world worries neither for a healthy supply nor for a physical

condition(in the main adults).

1. economically, the industries and multinationals worry more for the money that in the suitable supply of his consumers and for it the food quality of his products bases in the main for carbohydrates, fats and sweeten.

We can see that our society influences to that this problem grows increasingly:

Page 4: MIGUEL ANGEL DIAZ D. 11-3 THE OBESITY: (SPORT, SUPPLY, HEALTH...)

2. Socially, it is possible to see that a person with low physical performance(yield) and a regular or inadequate supply(food) is totally common and everything that one that exceeds this way of life is treated as stranger.

3. Culturally, in Colombia, our grandparents us taught much that a good supply was to eat

what is and in enormous quantities.

Up to religiously, that one that worries pos his physicist is treated in some cases as a conceited and earthly being.

This way many people do not agree with the exercise(fiscal year) or that to feed healthily is stupid, there is nothing better than to be healthy, to be happy with a better figure of you.

a common saying: if you have health you are capable of achieving what you want.

Page 6: MIGUEL ANGEL DIAZ D. 11-3 THE OBESITY: (SPORT, SUPPLY, HEALTH...)

To achieve a healthy life is not difficult, you have to give him an opportunity to the nature:

he eats good, salt with your friends to the park, plays with them, they enjoy an exit to the field.the worst mistake of the humanity is to change the real life into the world of the technology and to turn into subjects of her.

THE HISTORY OF PHYSICAL FITNESS

Page 9: MIGUEL ANGEL DIAZ D. 11-3 THE OBESITY: (SPORT, SUPPLY, HEALTH...)

Fitness, as we know it today, seems to be a relatively modern invention – something that started vaguely in the 70s with jogging and Jazzercise. But physical exercise obviously goes back much further than that, to a time where people wouldn’t have thought of it as working out, but rather a way of life.

Centuries and millennia ago, they did not have all the machines and weights and gyms that we have today, and yet they were in better shape than we are. To understand why this is, how we got to our modern fitness culture, and what we have lost along the way, it’s helpful to take a look at the history of exercise.

In a previous article on the philosophy of “MovNat,” I briefly talked about the history of physical training before there were modern gyms and workout programs. This article is a more detailed overview of exercise throughout time, from its ancestral origins, to the early history of physical education in Europe and America, to today’s plethora of fitness modalities, sports, and activities.

PRIMAL TIMES: MOVE FOR YOUR LIFE!

Page 13: MIGUEL ANGEL DIAZ D. 11-3 THE OBESITY: (SPORT, SUPPLY, HEALTH...)

From the dawn of humankind to around 10,000 BC, men had a constant voice in the back of their head saying, “Run for your life!” Physical development followed a natural path that was determined by the practical demands of life in a wild landscape as well as the vital need to avoid threats and seize opportunities for survival.

Page 14: MIGUEL ANGEL DIAZ D. 11-3 THE OBESITY: (SPORT, SUPPLY, HEALTH...)

• One’s movement demands consisted of locomotion, the manipulation of tools and natural objects (rocks, tree limbs, etc.), and defense. To survive in a harsh environment full of natural and human obstacles and enemies, early man had to know not only how to run, but also walk, balance, jump, crawl, climb, lift, carry, throw and catch things, and fight.

Page 15: MIGUEL ANGEL DIAZ D. 11-3 THE OBESITY: (SPORT, SUPPLY, HEALTH...)

We can also safely assume that playful or creative moves like early forms of dancing were performed when bellies were full and predators weren’t around.

THE CURRENT STATE OF PHYSICAL CULTURE: LOST IN FITNESS

Page 17: MIGUEL ANGEL DIAZ D. 11-3 THE OBESITY: (SPORT, SUPPLY, HEALTH...)

As we reflect on the evolution of fitness over the centuries, and the different facets present in our modern physical culture, it is well to ask ourselves: what have we lost, and what have we gained?

Obviously, much good has come out of these recent developments: there’s widespread awareness of the importance of regular exercise, nearly every community has a gym where people can work out, and we understand more about how the human body works and responds to physical training than we ever have before.
