What is unique about PPC?

Our background of experience in propriety process development work with clients or in-dependently with client approval. PPCS work has included highly explosive, flamma-ble, highly toxic and high-pressure process.

The ability to provide a preliminary engineering package complete with Process and In-strumentation Diagrams, an equipment list with specifications and a budget estimatewith EPC schedule. This preliminary scope book is used for capital appropriations or asa package to initiate the project.

Aiding our clients to become their own general contractor at a substantial capital costsaving by providing the personnel and know how to execute the project. We have the

Damon J Macioce P.E.Structural/ Civil Engineer

As Structural/ Civil Engineers for PPC both Richard DiPasquale P.E. and Mr. Damon J Maciocework as a team and are responsible for the design and detailing of various structures necessaryfor process systems and routine plant operations and changes. Dick prepares project cost es-timates for such structures, reviewing soils report and project specification information and gen-erating specifications and guidelines for material fabrication and erection.

Mr. Macioces experience includes the structural steel design of buildings, pipe supports andanchors, pipe and cable bridges, platforms, cooling tower supports, agitator support frames,elevated tank frames, various equipment support frames, towers, plate girders, stair systems,

connections, floor plates, grating, castellated beams, trusses and various existing structuremodifications.

Steel design and Richard DiPasquale. That experience includes the use of metric structuralshapes as well, experience also includes the design of concrete foundations, walls, piers, col-umns, mats, elevated slabs, rectangular and circular tanks, piles, and beams. Also included isthe masonry design of small buildings, walls and beams along with design and detailing experi-ence using timber and structural FRP as well. All design includes the evaluation of various loadssuch as wind, seismic, ice and snow.

Richard DiPasquale P.E. has over 30 years with major industrial designs and 19 with PPC.

Mr. Szerszynski has over 33 years of experience as a piping designer & draft-person he is thor-oughly familiar with all aspects of piping design, field engineering, layout, pipe supports, Auto-CAD, material take-off and pipe specifications.

As Piping Designer for Process Plants Corporation, John has prepared both piping orthographicand isometric drawings, prepared field sketches for routing piping within existing chemical facili-ties, material take-offs, vendor reviews on mechanical equipment.

Mr. Curtis has over 25 years experience in a variety of roles and responsibilities in electronicand Electrical Engineering. These experiences include the design and manufacturing ofcabinet and cables for military and various Automated Transit Projects. Jim has been in-volved with the original design phase through the final documentation, designed equipment,interfaces between the equipment, and determined manufacturing processes.

As Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Mr. Curtis has worked closely with client engineering staffs to resolveproblems and issues. Was assigned to the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control Systems (TTWCS) pro-gram was able to reduce manufacturing time implementing LEAN SIX SIGMA techniques.

Determined the Fiber Optic layout for the first Beta site for an experimental DI-CAST system, usingchemically treated Fiber Optic cables to detect the presence of Chemical Weapons.

Engineer, was responsible for resolving issues concerning cables, cabinets, and the Circuit Card Assem-bly area. As a Facilitator of a Lean Event to reduce waste in the, and the Circuit Card Assembly area,identified cost saving of $92,000 per year.

A recognized leader in the design, construction and maintenance of Automated Transit Systems.Sr. Electrical Design EngineerResponsible for the designs of the Wayside Interconnection schematics for projects in Rome, Kuala Lum-pur, Seattle-Tacoma, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Dallas Fort Worth Airports. In addition, designedcabinets, interface cables, serial cables, authored procurement specifications, and presented Design Re-views to customers. Identified ways to reduce equipment, saving the company $150,000 on the Dallas Fort Worth Project. By modifying the design of the Automated Train Protection system was able to reduce the wiring in

the cabinets and reduced the manufacturing costs Reviewed preliminary designs and identified methods to improve passenger safety. Resolved manufacturing and installation issues without impacting the production schedule. Authored specifications for Passenger Information Displays and assured that the Designs were in

compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Mr. Hunt has over 30 years of experience as a piping designer & draft-person he is thoroughly

familiar with all aspects of piping design, field engineering, layout, pipe supports, AutoCAD, ma-terial take-off and pipe specifications.

As piping designer for PPC Russs work involved detailing and layout of piping fabrication draw-ings and material take-off. His training and experience were developed as Mr. Hunt:

Contracted to American Electric Power in Columbus, Ohio. Co-generation Plant Project in-volved analyzing sketches, notes, verbal instructions, and input material to determine and planthe best approach to develop complete piping support drawings. Also using piping specifica-tions, industry standards and drafting methods which included PFD, P&ID, Orthographic, PipeSupports, Material Take-Off, and Isometric Piping Drawings.

Responsibilities included design, detail, layout of piping orthographic drawings, pipe support andequipment locations in the precipitation tank area. Field assignment was required walkdowns ofpiping systems, taking dimensions, field sketches and trouble shooting at the Gramercy works inLouisiana.

Mr. Reynolds has over 30 years of service in management of engineering construction projects as bothconstruction project engineer and project manager. He has extensive expertise in Project Management,Construction Engineer and Mechanical Design Engineer. Mr. Doug Reynolds has a solid background inConstruction Project Management having senior responsibility for 35 construction and design contracts.Projects were as diverse as aircraft parking aprons, engine shop expansion, plant replacement and re-pair, industrial facilities redesign.

As Process Plants Corporation Project Manager.Mr. Reynolds had of site work as a Project Manager for PPC. He performed in-house design work.The systems Mr. Reynolds was involved were, mechanical, electrical in nature and covered boilers, com-pressors, capacitors, instrumentation and equipment. Many projects were completed while the overallfacility was still operating. Planning was an important function to complete the work.

Mr. Reynolds was the Project and Construction manager for multiple projects involving equipment as wellas architectural requirements. Over the years he worked for the Idaho and Pennsylvania Air NationalGuard. Also was Data Analyst for US Navy Facilities. Doug evaluated, selected and directed sub-contractors and tracked materials for the projects. Mr. Reynolds led and directed teams through finalcompletion of projects. Mr. Reynolds worked as a Mechanical and Construction design engineer, his workinvolved environmental, equipment and steel design.
