What is the Kentucky New Era/ Rotary Regional Academic All-Star Team project?
“With so much competition among schools on the athletic level, it is sometimes easy to ignoreand lose sight of the core purpose of our schools … academics and preparing students for theirnext step in life. Recognizing academic performance and achievement should never be takenfor granted.” - Taylor W. Hayes (CEO / Publisher, Kentucky New Era)
The Kentucky New Era / Rotary Regional Academic All-Star Team program was designed specificallyto highlight and honor top academic performers from our area high schools and middle schools inChristian, Caldwell, Todd and Trigg Counties and Fort Campbell. It is a means of showing theyouth that the community is paying attention.
All the middle school honorees and the senior nominees will be recognized at a ceremony Tuesday,November 8 at 6:00 p.m. on the campus of Hopkinsville Community College, where Austin Moss,Vice President of Human Resources at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, will be the keynote speakerfor the evening.
