With your help, Alleman collected more than 140 pounds of food per student for this year’s Student Hunger Drive. This placed the Alleman community with the 1st Place Divisional Win! By working with our Partner Schools and Parishes, we were able to help many families who are in need. Thank you to all of our Partner Schools for your hard work in colleting food and monetary donations for this important cause!
There’s SO much to do at Alleman!
Spanish students celebrated Las Posadas, singing Christmas
carols in spanish through the Alleman halls. Las Posadas is a
festival celebrated in Mexico between December 16 and 24. It
commemorates the journey that Joseph and Mary made from Naz-
areth to Bethlehem in search of a safe place where Mary could
give birth to the baby Jesus.
Students participating in Alleman’s Student Council helped
to organize a Blood Drive this year, with the help of the
Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center.
