Materials Backpack to place the following materials: 3 Ring (2 ½ - 3 In.) Paper Computer Zip Drive Dividers Sections for Social Studies/Math/Science/LA Notes… or separate
notebooks for each Calculator #2 Pencils Pens Colored Pencils Workbooks from Home School Site (all that pertain to each program)
Bring to class each week. Hard bound books may be left home Access to a computer with internet and Powerpoint

Class AttendanceStudents must
attend class every week for basic instruction:8th-Tuesdays 8:30-

If a student is too ill to come on their designated instruction day, they MUST come on Friday from 8:30-9:30. A doctor’s note is required if they cannot come on this day. Probation will be required if attendance at this session or a doctors not is not obtained.

Work AttendanceAttendance for an
I.S. student is % of work completed. Because of this, it is critical that students complete 100% of work on the assignment sheet EVERY week.
Work Completion80/80 Policy Probation PolicyIf a student turns in less
than 100% 2 weeks in a row they must:
1. Come to Tutoring on Monday morning for one hour
2. Stay until 2 the next class session (PE required during this probation study hall)
If a student is placed on Attendance Probation, they will be required to turn in 100% of work or they may be returned to their home school. While on probation they MUST attend tutoring Monday mornings and stay for Study Hall after their regular class session (til 2pm). After 4 weeks of 100% attendance, they will be removed from probation.
If student does not comply with probation she/he may be removed from the program
PARENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO MEET WITH TEACHER WEEKLY at beginning of class.

Academic ProbationIf a student gets a D or F on a grade
report (Progress Report or Trimester Report), they will be placed on Academic Probation. If this grade is not brought up to an A,B, or C by the next grading period they may be required to reenroll at they home school for that subject only.
Families are required to obtain the www.psusd.us code for zangle. This is the method of communicating grades to parents.__________Initials

Work that is not in by start of class will be docked 25% grade
Work handed in after the due date will only be given 50% grade
Work that is completed, but not correctly, may be redone by requesting help from teacher…as long as it is in packet at beginning of class
