CONCEPT: CREATE AN AFFORDABLE JUNIOR GOLF ASSOCIATION WITHIN THE MIDDLE GEORGIA

AREA. HAVE LOCAL GOLF COURSES HOST MGJGT POINTS TOURNAMENTS FOR JUNIOR GOLFER’S

BETWEEN THE AGES OF 6 TO 18 (WHO HAVE NOT GRADUTATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL). THE

TOURNAMENTS WILL BE DESIGNED TO TEACH JUNIOR GOLFERS’ THE RULES, ETIQUETTE AND THE COMPETITIVENESS OF GOLF. THE POINTS

SYSYTEM ALLOWS DIFFERENT AGE AND LEVELS OF JUNIOR GOLFERS’ THE OPPORTUNITY TO

COMPETE FAIRLY AGAINST ONE ANOTHER. JUNIOR GOLFERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO TAKE AND PASS ANNUAL RULES OF GOLF TEST

PRIOR TO COMPETING IN ANY MGJGT EVENT.

Junior Golf TourA POINT SYSTEM WILL BE USED FOR ALL TOURNAMNET PLAYERS AS

FOLLOWS:

Players will play their own ball on each hole using the following points system.Ages 10 to 186 points = Eagle4 points = Birdie2 points = Par1 point = Bogey½ point = double bogeyAny score higher than a double bogey on a hole, player must pick up and

proceed to the next hole.

Ages 6 to 96 points = Eagle5 points = Birdie4 points = Par3 points = Bogey2 points = Double Bogey1 point = Triple BogeyAny score higher than a triple bogey on a hole, player must pick up and

proceed to the next hole.
