2017 Basketball Membership Renewal and New Member Applications

To start the process, go to the TASO home page, www.taso.org (you can also type the URL directly into your browser). You will need your TASO ID number. If you have forgotten your ID number, go to member’s login and use “forgot my password” feature. You will need a credit or debit card to complete the process. The cost is $65 if use the “forgot my you register and pay before the deadline. The deadline is TBA.

Once you have completed the application, your status will be changed to “Pending” and will remain until your criminal history review is completed. Please note that we are not going to start reviewing the criminal history reports for a few weeks. Once the criminal history report is completed, your status will be changed to “Active”

You are not able to actually access the Member’s Portal until your status is Active.

REGISTRATION: TO START THE REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT PROCESS: You do not log into the member’s portal, just click the link in the upper right corner, “Membership Renewal / New Applicants”

You will be taken to a screen where you will select the sport that you are renewing / applying for.

Select your sport and the process will begin. Be careful when completing the background check. Any violation above a traffic ticket must be reported.

If you get a message to contact your chapter secretary, please disregard and send a message to basketball@taso.org

You will get two confirmation e-mails for your records: an “application completed” message from TASO and a payment confirmation from the credit card processing company.
