Club Rider Rankings Matrix

The club rider rankings Matrix is used for decisions on Club Team Entries and end of year Club Awards. The matrix rankings of each type of rider will be the same within the two types of sport the club partake in, Enduro and Trials.

The scoring of the standings will be as follows:

Club Awards

Points Scoring Class Standing:

1. Expert2. Veteran3. Clubman4. Sportsman5. Novice

Points Scoring Championship Standing:

1. British Overall2. British Sub Class (i.e. E1, E2, E3)3. Welsh4. Inter Club Level5. Club Level

Points Standing:

Highest points to lowest

The club member must have scored at least one point within his field to qualify for a standing.

e.g/ There are two members one is an Expert Rider who has scored 40 points within the British Championship E1 Class and the second is an Expert Rider who has scored 100 points in the Welsh Championship. First marking is Class which they tie on as Experts, second marking is Championship and as The British Sub Class Championship is higher than the Welsh Championship the first rider is ranked higher. If they had both entered the same championship, then it would be decided by points scored.

Team Entries

If the Matrix is to be used as the 50% rider standing weighting deciding factor, then it must be used as follows:

All club members who put their name forward for the team will be marked the highest marked person will be marked as 100%, Second place will be marked as 90% and Third Place as 80% in 10% intervals. The percentage will then be divided by two giving First a 50% overall rating, second 45% and third 40%. This will then be added to their volunteering date attendance.

e.g. a club member came third in the club rider ranking scoring 45% and scored 30% in their volunteering date attendance so would have an overall team entry score of 75%. Highest percentage club members would make the club team.
