Flags

•Categorize tasks ( To Do, Important, and Question) by using the Note Flag button.•Customize note flags by changing their icons, text labels, and font and highlight colors and by assigning shortcut keys. •View all flagged tasks by clicking Show All Flagged Notes. •In the Note Flag Summary task pane, customize the view of flagged tasks based on fields, such as Date and Name.

•All notes, including the typed text, inserted images, printed pages, audio notes, ink from a Tablet PC, and note flags are searchable•Type the keyword in the search box, and then click the Find button (the green arrow to the right of the search box).

Sharing Notebooks•Others on the network can view and edit the notebook. •To create a shared notebook, on the Share menu, click Create Shared Notebook. •Creates an e-mail message with a link to the notebook. •Store shared notebooks either in a shared folder on your computer or on a network file server. •Multiple people can simultaneously access the files in the shared notebook without checking in or checking out specific pages of notes.

•Can be accessed online or offline. •Changes made to the notebook while working offline are merged back into the shared notebook.

Live Sharing

• Allow others to join a shared OneNote session to modify a common page

• Choose Share, then Live Sharing Session and Start Sharing Session.

• Follow the prompts to invite other users to join your session.

• Choose Join Current Session to join a session that someone else had started.

Sharing through Publishing

• Users who do not have OneNote 2007 can view your files through PDF.

• From File, choose Publish as PDF or XPS.

• Send the published file to others as an email attachment.

Synchronizing with Other Applications

• Use the Outlook toolbar to add tasks from OneNote directly into Outlook

• Add contacts from Outlook into OneNote using the OneNote button in Outlook

• Add meeting details using Insert Meeting Details in OneNote

• Sync with a mobile device (OneNote Mobile on a SmartPhone)
