Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert - TeachMeet

• Many attended an Innovation Workshop to get
ideas and inspiration
• They developed and uploaded Learning Activities
to the Partners in Learning Network (www.pil-
network.com)
• From the Learning Activities uploaded by 3 June
2013 we selected these to be showcased at the
ICT in the Classroom Conference
What did these teachers do to be here?
What will happen now?
• 15 Learning Activities will be showcased in this TeachMeet
• Pre-service University Students will also give their lesson
ideas
• We will randomly call each teacher/ student up
• Teachers will have exactly 5-minutes to present their
Learning Activities
• Audience members (and others!) can vote for the Learning
Activity they think is the best

One • At least one of these teachers will be selected to be a
Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert. This person (or people)
will not be chosen at this conference as they still have time to
enhance their Learning Activities.
• Additional ‘Experts’ will be selected from other South African
and Lesotho teachers who apply before 30 September 2013.
‘Experts’ will attend the Global Partners in Learning Forum.
This will be taking place in Barcelona, 11 – 14 March 2014.
