We’ll highlight what is new in Windows 8, from touch screens - a game changer for business use of tablets and phones - to a tile-based interface and enhancements to Explorer and the Task Manager. And, what’s new in Office 2013, from Cloud offerings and a cleaner ribbon and look plus a huge library of templates to fulfill many business needs. g Opening General Session Business Analyzer and Dashboards for Dynamics GP So how helpful would it be if your executives were able to access financial information in GP without logging in? If you see the benefit of them having access to reports without using a GP log in, you’ll want to start taking advantage of the Business Analyzer offered in GP 2010. Take your pick among standard reports included, or develop your own and deploy in Dashboards that showcase the information users need based on their roles. We’ll show some sorting and filtering capabilities, drill downs and how you can personalize to your specific needs and role. Also works with your other SQL products so you can see your whole business. CHOOSE Session 1A OR Session 1B 9:40–10:25am Excel ® Deep Dive Tell an accountant to stop using Excel? Easier to say: Stop breathing and eating. So if Excel is the tool of choice, let's hone your Excel skills to make the most of data reporting and analysis. This session will review valuable features such as linking separate workbooks and worksheets, Pivot Tables and linking with other applications. We’ll also offer up some tips for Dynamics GP users who spend a lot of time working with Excel, so you’ll know how to tap further into the power of newer GP reporting tools built with Excel functionality. BONUS: All attendees at this session will receive free: “101 Microsoft Excel® Tips & Tricks.” g Financial Reporting for Dynamics GP The tool of choice for financial reports out of GP is Management Reporter 2012 and we’ll be focusing how to tap into its power to generate, secure and publish profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. This FRx replacement takes everything you know and love about FRx, and adds more power through updated architecture that offers a new scalability and reliability. This session will show you what you can expect from MR 2012, a look at the many drill downs and multiple options for automatically distributing both static and dynamic reports. View in Excel, viewer or XPS. CHOOSE Session 2A OR Session 2B 10:35–11:20am Dynamics GP Tips & Tricks You can never know it all, but there’s still a lot more you can learn from each new GP release. We have updated one of our most popular BBC sessions with new favorites, more cool tips and short cuts. Come see helpful routines that automate processes, features that you may not know about, utilities and shortcuts that can save you time and keep you accurate. Some are module specific; some are set ups you’ll want to know about that work in a variety of modules.
