PLUG STYLE CAPS TPE

DO YOU REQUIRE THE SECURE CLOSURE OF YOUR SAMPLE

STORAGE TUBES IN A 96 TUBE FORMAT? IF SO, THEN MICRONIC

OFFERS A WIDE VARIETY OF PLUG STYLE TPE (THERMO PLASTIC

ELASTOMER) CAPS. THE CAPS ARE AVAILABLE IN DIFFERENT

COLOURS AND ARE COMPATIBLE WITH ALL MICRONIC 0.50ML, 0.75ML, 1.10ML, 1.40ML AND 2.50ML TUBES.

Micronic TPE caps are used for sealing sample storage tubes in a 96-well format. Sample storage tubes from Micronic are available in a wide range of different codes and volumes. Manufactured from chemically resistant and hydrophobic polymer, each TPE cap is multi-pierceable, ensuring long-term sample integrity. The full TPE cap range is available in 10 different colours, in turn providing for visual colour identification. Whether applying single caps directly to tubes or when used with an automated capping system Micronic caps provide the maximum sample integrity for long-term storage. Micronic’s unique sample storage caps are highly solvent resistant. The ultra-low extractable material eliminates the possibility of sample contamination from the TPE cap. The range of TPE caps is available in several formats.

The Capband-8 and -12 comes in a mat format (total of 96 caps) with tear off lines to obtain the individual cap strips. The Capmat-96 holds 96 caps in a fixed foil, in which the 96 tubes are sealed together. The Capcluster-96 allows you to seal 96 tubes in one turn. After capping, remove the retaining foil to leave each tube individually capped. The recommended temperature range is -80°C to +80°C, and individual caps (without the retaining foil) up to a temperature of +121°C. Available features

Cap tubes in the volume range of

0.50ml, 0.75ml, and 1.40ml. The

tubes are available non-coded,

alphanumeric coded and 2D coded

(Data-Matrix or TraXis). The tubes

(including the code area) are

manufactured of the highest-purity

polypropylene.

The 2D codes are encrypted with a

laser in the polypropylene code area,

guaranteeing the highest resistance

to solvent attack and ensuring a

reliable code reading. All the Screw

Cap tubes in this range are available

with an inner V- or U-bottom.

The Screw Caps are available in six different colours: White, Red, Green, Yellow, Blue and Transparent Blue. Micronic Screw Caps feature Silicon “O” rings around their base to allow for the tightest seal possible. The one turn capping ensures a tight sealing that is also ideal for sample transportation.

The Screw Cap tubes are

compatible with the Micronic TPE

or Screw Caps (TPE Caps also fit

Screw Cap tubes).

The Screw Cap tubes are available in Bulk, refill carrier-96, Loborack-96 and Roborack-96. Both racks have the ‘Twist-Lock’ feature to prevent turning during Screw Capping. Available features

ENVIRONMENTS? IF SO, THEN MICRONIC OFFERS THE 6.00ML 2D DATA-MATRIX CODED SCREW CAP TUBES IN A 24-WELL CONFIGURATION. THIS

CRYOTUBE HAS A FLAT OUTSIDE BOTTOM AND AN EXTERNAL O-RING ON

THE SCREWCAPS WHICH GUARANTEES AN OPTIMAL CLOSURE.

The 6.00ml storage tubes have a net

volume of 4.60ml and are ideal for

use in a wide variety of (long term)

storage applications, including

storage of samples in cryogenic

environment (vapour phase liquid

nitrogen). The inner flat bottom of the

tube is ideal for the storage of f.i.

tissue at ultra low (cryogenic)

temperatures.

The Micronic 6.00ml tube has been

designed to be the ideal shape for

gripping with a robotic arm thereby

enabling simple integration into a

high throughput environment.

The Screwcap for the 6.00ml tubes

features a silicone O-ring that

provides a optimised sealing. When

the tube is fully closed the O-ring

positions itself inside the tube.

Designed for special circumstances

like high pressure inside the tube the

O-ring will remain in its position. The

screwcap can be closed with a 'single

turn' to ease opening and closure

during manual processing.

The Arctric Rack-24 is a special designed Cryo rack in a 24 format. This new robust storage rack and cover is made out of special materials ideal for usage at ultra low (cryogenic) temperatures. The rack is based on the industry standard SBS footprint and therefore compatible with the Micronic Tracxer Code Readers (and readers from other brands). The Arctic Rack-24 can be used in Liquid handling and sample storage systems. Available features

INNOVATIVE ADHESIVE PRODUCTS. Micronic offers a pattern range of

microplate adhesive sealing foils

designed to ensure sample integrity

for temporarily exposed samples.

Manufactured using a patented

process, that produces a patterned

adhesive sealing film, the new range

of products are able to provide an

adhesive-free polymer seal over each

well of the microplate, so that

adhesive is not in contact with the

well contents when sealing materials

adhere to plates.

Sealing films are specifically

designed to eliminate clogging and

contamination of auto sampler

needles, and offer the best optical

clarity for inspection and diagnostic

applications.

Pattern adhesive films are available

in both 96-well round, 96-well square

and 384-well microplate formats,

several film materials, and different

adhesive compositions that provide

high solvent (DMSO) and chemical

resistance.

The adhesive sealing films made

from Polyester, Polypropylene or

Teflon are available in blue, white

or black for different degrees of

chemical resistance.
