• Adjust NEXDRIVE base• Assemble the NEXDRIVE• Insert the cannulae• Insert the microelectrode• Additional tracks:
– Perform a parallel track
– Using the offset positioner
• Place the DBS lead

• Loosen locking screws• Adjust Z-stage to set
drive to target depth reported by IGS

• Remove alignment adapter
• Insert Center multi-lumen insert
• Attach micro-drive

• Remove cannula & re-insert through offset

Lead Placement
• Set drive to desired target depth
• Remove microelectrode and spacer cannula
• Calibrate lead with calibration tube
• Remove calibration tube and insert lead
