Michelle Lam is among this handful of exceptional students. Ms. Lam has been extremely impressive in her participation in the T4 Program. As a testament to her zest for knowledge, Michelle seized various opportunities for learning by attending optional workshops that were offered in the T4 Program and at the library- this was in addition to the mandatory Summer Technology Institute training. In the 9 years history of the T4 Program, Michelle has been by far one of our most proactive and standout participant. Michelle Lam used her technology skills and knowledge to volunteer at one of our Brooklyn Public Library branches in her community. She was at the forefront by helping patrons with computer related questions. In closing, I strongly recommend Ms. Michelle Lam to your higher education institution. As the project manager of this program, I thoroughly enjoyed watching her become part of Brooklyn Public Library. I am confident that Michelle sense of civic responsibility, people skills, and leadership skills coupled with her intellectual curiosity and academic abilities will continue to propel her growth and impact in the world of today. Moreover, I am positive that if accepted, Michelle Lam will be just as proactive within a higher education community as she was for our Brooklyn community. Please feel free to contact me should you need any additional information. To Whom It May Concern:

Over the past 9 years, out of 1000 plus students that passed through Brooklyn Public Library’s (BPL)

Today’s Teens, Tomorrow’s Techies (T4) Volunteer Program, there have been a handful of exceptional students

that possess superb intellectual abilities, leadership skills, a sense of civic responsibility, and the ability to excel

both independently and collaboratively. Michelle Lam is among this handful of exceptional students.

Ms. Lam has been extremely impressive in her participation in the T4 Program. As a testament to her zest

for knowledge, Michelle seized various opportunities for learning by attending optional workshops that were

offered in the T4 Program and at the library- this was in addition to the mandatory Summer Technology Institute

training.

In the 9 years history of the T4 Program, Michelle has been by far one of our most proactive and standout

participant. Michelle Lam used her technology skills and knowledge to volunteer at one of our Brooklyn Public

Library branches in her community. She was at the forefront by helping patrons with computer related questions.

In closing, I strongly recommend Ms. Michelle Lam to your higher education institution. As the project

manager of this program, I thoroughly enjoyed watching her become part of Brooklyn Public Library. I am

confident that Michelle sense of civic responsibility, people skills, and leadership skills coupled with her intellectual

curiosity and academic abilities will continue to propel her growth and impact in the world of today. Moreover, I am

positive that if accepted, Michelle Lam will be just as proactive within a higher education community as she was for

our Brooklyn community. Please feel free to contact me should you need any additional information.
