Milestones• Revamped the Technology Education curriculum

in Roanoke County to include 15 dual enrollment credits.

• Teach the national teacher certification course for the state of Va. DOE in AutoCad.

• On the advisory board of the Technology Student Association

• Served for two years as Blue Ridge Regional President of the Virginia Technology Education Association

Assumptions about this position

• I would be an active Coordinator. I don’t like sitting behind a desk all day. I assume that to be the most effective in creating a program for students, one must be involved with the students and see what needs are not being met for the teachers, the facilities and the student body.

Vision Statement

• My vision is to bring to the students and the school district, the most up to date software, equipment and training to allow our students to take the education that we provide and immediately put it to use whether it be in further educational pursuits or in the workplace.
