GOLD SPECIALIST: Oakville Aquatic Club member Nicole Bullock shows the form she used to win nine individual gold medals at a swim meet last weekend at Iroquois Ridge Community Centre.

Perhaps even American swimming sensation MichaelPhelps, eight-time gold medalist at the 2008 OlympicSummer Games, would be impressed.

Oakville Aquatic Club (OAK) 11-year-old swimmer NicoleBullock won gold in nine different individual events at afive-team swim meet hosted by OAK last weekend atIroquois Ridge Community Centre.

Bullock was victorious in the 50-metre, 100m, 200m,400m and 1,500m freestyle, the 100m and 200m breast-stroke, the 200m backstroke and the400m individual med-ley.

Several of Bullock’s teammates enjoyed extremely suc-cessful meets as well. Fourteen-year-old Bridget Jordan wonseven individual gold, 16-year-old Tera Van Beilen claimedsix and 12-year-old Matthew Mac earned five.
