Who should I bring to the shows? Most of our shows are aimed at Years 11 and above. These shows cater for Year 11s who you think have the potential to get Grade 6 or higher at GCSE, and at all year 12s/FE Students who are studying maths, including Core Maths.
We also run slightly shorter shows for Year 9s and 10s, usually at the end of the summer term. These shows are more interactive and the content is pitched appropriately for that age group. The level of the show is clearly stated on the publicity.
Teacher Advisory Panel (TAP)We have a Teacher Advisory Panel, made up of teachers from across the country. The feedback and advice that they give us is important in driving our programme. If you are interested in joining the panel please email [email protected].
Our main sponsor is Admiral Insurance. Admiral have been supporting us since we started, and have enabled us to expand our programme nationally.

Maths Inspiration is a national programme of interactive maths lecture shows for teenagers. We give 14–17 year olds a chance to experience the UK’s most inspiring maths speakers live in theatres, presenting mathematics in the context of exciting real-world applications.
Our shows are exceptional value for money, with tickets under £10 (including VAT) per student. All teacher seats are free.
All shows have three interactive talks, an interval and a lively Q & A session at the end. The shows make links to National Curriculum content, and feature mathematicians, engineers and physicists. They are an ideal STEM outing for your school, that can also open your students’ eyes to mathematical careers.
Maths Inspiration began in 2004. Since then over 150,000 teenagers have attended our shows, making us one of the largest and most successful maths enrichment programmes in the UK.
