Personal Essay Sometimes I just day dream. Well all the time act, I can day dream and wish I was somewhere all the

time. While most girls day dream and guys and shopping, I day dream about being outside on the soccer

field. I live for soccer 24/7.

Instead of being in a classroom and in school for 7 hours of the day. I would rather be playing soccer

right now. I live for soccer. I could play it every single day of the week and never get sick of it. Soccer is kind

of like a bacteria it never goes away. I would love to be out on the soccer field kicking a ball around and

fixing my mistakes. Out of everything in the world I would rather be doing that. The reason for that is

because soccer is my passion. I would love to be out on the field because when I’m out on the field just by

myself I clears my head from everything. I can be going from a classroom with everyone yelling and going

crazy, to not thinking of anything but just focusing on what move I’m going to do next and now I can do it.

If I could pick two people to be out on the field with me it would be my two soccer coaches Bosch and

Heiser. The reason why I would pick those people out of anyone else is because they have so much experience

with a soccer ball. They could help me with my mistakes and making it better. They are always so positive in

whatever it might be in soccer. Weather it ‘s showing you how to kick a ball right or just playing defense.

They were always there for me whenever I needed them out on the field weather it was a question I had or

just a question about anything.

I probably sound like an awesome soccer player. Like I have been playing for years and years. But I

haven’t this is my very first year playing soccer. I was watching the Fifa Women World Cup when I decided

to do soccer, it looked like a pretty fun sport. I never played soccer a day in my life and I knew that it was

going to be hard changing to a sport that you know nothing about. The reason why I live for soccer and love

it so much is because this season was the funniest season of sports I have ever had in my whole life. The

reason because I just try my hardest and learned from my mistakes.

I wouldn’t regret playing soccer for a minute. The reason because it was so fun going into a sport that

your know nothing about and learning new things. I dedicated myself at every practice and in every game. I

played my heart about no matter where we were at. As long as I gave effort and the right attitude I go better

every single day.

Malori Cruz 6/27/97- 6/9/2099Malori Cruz retired softball player of the team Kryptonitedied at the age 102. She passed away at her home with her family by her side. She died from old age and from stress and work in her Comma Arts class. Maloribecame a member of the Kryptonite Team on October 2nd 2011.She had enjoyed playing with them and still practicewith them, even though shewas a shriveled up raisin.

Grandma’s Famous Pumpkin Pie!

1 2 cups of pumpkin pulp purée from a sugar pumpkin* or from canned pumpkin purée

2 1 1/2 cup heavy cream or 1 12 oz. can of evaporated milk

3 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar4 1/3 cup white sugar5 1/2 teaspoon salt6 2 eggs plus the yolk of a third egg7 2 teaspoons of cinnamon8 1 teaspoon ground ginger9 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg10 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves11 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamon12 1/2 teaspoon of lemon zest13 Preheat oven to 425°F.

*Mix sugars, salt, and spices, and lemon zest in a large bowl. Beat the eggs and add to the bowl. Stir in the pumpkin purée. Stir in cream. Whisk all together until well incorporated.

*Pour into pie shell and bake at 425°F for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes reduce the temperature to 350°F. Bake 40-50 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.*Cool on a wire rack for 2 hours.Serve with whipped cream.Crust1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, plus extra for rolling
