as we celebrate the beauty of creation and see the Mas-

ter at work painting the landscape of blue skies with

billowing clouds, falling leaves of red, green, yellow and

orange upon the green and brown grasses. The cotton on

the vine or bundled in bales reminds us of our heritage

of laboring in the fields. As you read our fourth Made forMissions newsletter, sit back and take in the sites andsounds as Mission Directors and Volunteers are prepar-

ing for celebrations and feastings in

    honor of our Savior!

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

    Praise the Lord." Psalm 150:6

to connect with areas of volunteer need in

    the Midlands.

Some of the 20 organizations represented

    School & Hannah House.

It is our hope that this becomes an ever

growing annual event that exposes poten-

tial volunteers to the ever increasing need

of time, talent and resources for those in

    need in the Midlands.

lina at the age of sixteen. While at Airport High

School this past April, Cody met Chad Bech-

tel through the Nehemiah Project. So excited after hearing

of Chad's Internships Program for Christ Central Missions,

Cody joined the group of summer interns and extended his

stay when making the decision to join the year long intern

    program.

Cody enjoys chess, learning to play the guitar and has de-veloped a great passion and love toward the homeless andneedy. October 30, Cody organized a trip to serve food for

    Spirit of Giving

God clearly has His hand on Christ Central Minis-

tries and 89.7 WMHK as we partner through the

with our neighbors throughout the midlands of

South Carolina during this special time of year. Al-

though many families are experiencing difficult

times, the God we serve is much greater.

In only four weeks, He has raised up hundreds of

our neighbors as volunteers and they have agreed to

give gifts, time and food. With the adoption of 106 families representing close to 400 people, we dogive thanks; however, we are not quite at our half way goal of 240 families!

803-231-8394. We will have live entertainment, 89.7 WMHK will fill the air with Christmas music,

great food, drinks and fellowship all FREE!

DONATIONS FROM THE HEART"Here mom, this is for the ministry!" It was as simple as that. My youngest son walked into the kitchen, handedme forty dollars of his hard-earned money, and turned and walked out. I wish I could tell you that I immediatelyused this as a "teachable moment" and relayed, from memory, a bible verse to him about giving; however, all Icould muster was a "thanks". For you see, he was teaching me something in that moment. When the Lord places

on your heart to give, you simply obey. The Holy Spirit sometimes calls you to act immediately; before the worldhas had a chance to tell you that you're not making a wise choice with your time or your money. May we all have

the simple obedience of a child!

    UPCOMING WAYS TO GIVE:

We are partnering with WHMK 89.7 in the "Spirit of Giving" campaign to have families adopted for Christmas. Please go

to their website to adopt a needy family. You and your family can also sign up to volunteer during several shifts during

the week of November 28-December 3. Please email Melanie Frink at [email protected] more information

    about volunteering.

Winter is looming around the corner and our children are in need of coats. Please clean out those closets and drop any

new or gently used coats by my house at 9 Shoreline Drive in Northeast Columbia or bring them to our new apartment (J3)

in Gonzales Gardens during tutoring hours on Tuesday and Thursday.

Don't forget to check to check out our website at www.ProsperityProjectSC.orgto see the latest "happenings"!

    Blessings to you all,
