Safety

• Light rail is quiet! Listen for horn and watch for flashing headlights. • Look both ways before crossing. • Never stop, park, or stand on the tracks. • Obey traffic signals. A red arrow means “do not turn.” • Jaywalking is illegal and unsafe. Cross only at crosswalks and obey the

crosswalk signals.

Safety

• Never try to beat a train through the intersection.

• Treat METRO high-voltage power lines with the same respect as utility company lines.

• When crossing the tracks on a bicycle, cross at an angle to avoid falling or tire damage.

• Skateboarding, rollerblading and riding bikes in the guideway or on the platforms is unsafe and is not permitted.

Hours and Frequency

• First full trip begins at end stations

Weekdays: 4:40 a.m. Weekends: 5 a.m.

• 6:00 am – 7:00 pm - Trains run: Weekdays - every 10 minutes

Saturdays - every 15 minutes

Sundays - every 20 minutes

• Before 6:00 a.m. & after 7:00 p.m. trains run every 20 minutes

• Last full trip begins 11 pm, ends at midnight. Friday and Saturday night: Last full trip leaves end stations at 2:00 a.m., reaching opposite end at 3:00 a.m.
