Halloween was a BLAST! I can�t wait until next year! Hay, why doesn�t somebody call outHalf-a-ween night? Ya, it could be in May ½ way to Halloween! Yes, I�m one of those people!I think we should all celebrate our Halfy- birthdays. Monday, November 11th is Veterans Day!(I can smell a man or woman in uniform before I even see them! I love a man or woman inuniform! Oh, I think I�m getting the vapas just thinking about it) We all know what VeteransDay is, but do we really? Veterans Day was first celebrated in 1919, President WoodrowWilson created the holiday to remember the soldiers that fought and died for our country!Personally, I�m proud to be an American, in knowing that I�m free because of the men andwomen who served, who gave that right to me. For those who have served and for those whoserve now, let us fly our flags proudly! It brings me such emotion when I think about the brave,the strength, the blood, the sweat and tears their lives in which they gave, for us to have afreedom that no other country knows! Next time you get those handy address labels or acalendar in the mail (that you will use), when dedicated volunteers are passing out poppies inhopes of donations, (to help injured veterans) please give a little to those who gave a lot. Ourfreedom is not at all free!! Let�s see whose getting there uniform parties on in Marta Land!
