Planning the Integration of a Lagoon Park for the City of Venice
Present Day Venetian Lagoon
Wealthy mainlanders travel out to the Sea on their motorboats, powering through the lagoon on their way
Spending all day out at sea, the boaters return to their homes in the mainland
They choose to explore the lagoon on their own before returning home, however.
Due to being reckless in their adventures, their motorboats create large wakes in the lagoon, creating a disturbance
Since these wakes occur frequently, they are beginning to wreak havoc on the environment of the lagoon
If a park is created, one benefit will be that these boats and the speeds they reach can be regulated to put a halt to causing any potential harm to the lagoon
