Our expertise in working with metallic pipes enables us to offer a broad range of solutions to your pipeline problems - from cold cutting and window cutting, under pressure drilling to flow stopping operations and the supply of standard or bespoke fittings, we can take care of it all.
Working within an ISO9001 environment and with the support of experienced gas and water engineers, our dedicated teams of site technicians are experts in their field. Whether you require a new connection or a flow stopping operation while you are carrying out alteration work to your pipeline, RadiusPLUS have City & Guilds and GNO2 qualified technicians who come fully equipped to carry out the work required to your metallic main. And when you choose to install your own system, we can supply a range of bespoke fittings solutions to suit your requirements.
With 4 locations within the UK and mobile teams at each facility, RadiusPLUS are able to offer a nationwide service for all your metallic pipeline needs.

Under Pressure Drilling Service
RadiusPLUS offer a drilling service which allows you to carry out planned or emergency work on your live gas or water metallic main, without interruption of supply to your customers.
• Under pressure tees with off-takes from 80mm to 600mm
• Callipering service• Supply and fit• Drill only service available• Site report complete with pressure test
Our under pressure drilling service can be carried out on all gas and water cast iron, ductile iron, steel pipeline and asbestos cement pipelines, with minimum excavation and reduced installation time.
When you need to make a connection or effect a planned or emergency repair to your gas or water metallic
main, RadiusPLUS have the experience and skills to carry out the necessary work, safely and reliably. Our expertise in working with metallic pipes means that we can offer a broad range of services from callipering, under pressure drilling, flow stopping operations, window and cold cutting to commissioning and decommissioning of your metallic pipeline.

Flow Stopping Services
Working in collaboration with our partners Flow Stop Services, RadiusPLUS offer a choice of flow stopping techniques for gas and water pipelines up to and including 48” (1200mm), to enable you to carry out work required to your main, whilst maintaining continuity of supply and with minimum disruption to your customers.
• Inflatable bag stop from 4” (100mm) to 36” (900mm)• Folding head stopple from 4” (100mm) to 48”
(1200mm)• Iris plug up to 48”(1200mm)
Window Cutting & Cold Cutting
RadiusPLUS have invested in specialist pipe cutting equipment which allows us to carry out circumferential and longitudinal cutting opetations safely, for all metallic gas and water pipes up to 48” (1200mm). Our window cutting equipment is capable of cutting 600mm longitudinal lengths, giving you sufficient access to carry out all your connection and repair operations.
• Available for pipe sizes from 4” (110mm) to 48” (1200mm)
• Steel, ductile iron and cast iron pipes• Close fit liner cutting• Cold cutting up to 48” (1200mm)

Standard and Bespoke Metallic Fittings
Having the right material to allow you to complete a pipeline installation on time is essential. As well as being able to install fittings, we have the capability to supply a range of standard fittings and individually customised solutions to suit specific pipeline requirements, or fit into restricted spaces, when you choose to install your own system.
Our standard size metallic fittings are available up to 48” (1200mm) sizes, and we can also supply complex one-off fabrications to fit your system’s requirements. And with our pipe callipering service, we can ensure that we supply the right fitting every time.
