Ensure that the structural opening is the correct size to the corresponding door schedule and is level on the vertical and horizontal sides & is square to both wall faces. 2. Walls should be brick, concrete, concrete masonry or equal to that. 3. Place the doorframe into the structural opening and align as shown on the corresponding drawings, either level to the finished wall face or central & set to the correct datum for the height. 4. Ensure that the frame is level and drill the top fixing at the hinge side of the jamb, insert the anchor fixing taking care not to tighten. 5. Level the frame and drill & insert the bottom anchor. 6. Repeat the process for the opposite side. 7. Centralise the frame within the structural opening and place the plastic shims behind the anchor strap & tighten the anchor, repeat the process on other fixing points. 8. Measure the frame at the top, middle and bottom ensuring the dimensions are the same. 9. Screw the hinges onto the frame. 10. Align the door leaf and fix the top and bottom hinges then the middle. 11. Ensure that the door is opening and closing freely and that the gaps are equal around the jambs and head. 12. If the doors are concrete filled the frames must be set with spacers to ensure that there is no movement whilst the filling and curing takes place. (Not in TG scope of work). 13. Fix the ironmongery & insert the plastic caps. 14. Silicone point between the wall and frame (Not in TG scope of Work) Note. If the metal frames are to be mortar filled the door leafs must be installed before to ensure that the frames are leveled correctly and the gaps between frame and leafs are correct they can be removed when filling takes place.
