OneAir – Who we are

OneAir Srl is a relative young company composed by ateam of long experienced people in the field ofventilation and air condition and specifically skilled onthe realisation of the perforated air ducts.

The composed experiences inside OneAir Srl hasallowed to develop immediately products based onhigh level technology with use of laser perforation andlaser cut according the different materials at the baseof the realization of its own products

The deep knowledge in the textile realization has alsobrought the company to develop a specifictechnological branch inside the Company for thedevelop and realization of products for the transportsectors.

OneAir – DHI Metal Air Ducts

The DHI Metal Ducts are produced in twodifferent configurations

Open circumferenceClosed circumference

The first configuration (open circumference) hasbeen designed for reducing the cost of transportof the ducts, and a simple system for closing theducts allows to have an economic advantagewithout any efficiency lost.

OneAir – HIGH INDUCTION

The principle used for the realization of the DHIPerforated Air Ducts it‘s based on the HighInduction phenomenon

Using a calibrated air speed, the air which exitsfrom the perforation produces low-pressureareas, and these activate the mixing betweenthe incoming air (primary air) and the existingair (room air), producing as result themovement of an air quantity bigger than 40times than the primary air.

TRADITIONAL SYSTEMS DIFFUSION WITH CEILING DIFFUSERS

With the most used diffusers, installed onceiling, the air distribution and the level ofcomfort is influenced by the number of theinstalled diffusers and by the positioning of theexhaust lines.

In this situation the level of comfort (definedwith the rule UNI 10339) is exposed toproblems for the homogeneity of thetemperatures and the presence of air currentsand furthermore the energy consumption isinfluenced by a presence of air stratificationphenomenon (especially during the winterseason – heating functioning) and the timeneeded to reach a good working point of the airconditioning system

OneAir – DIFFUSION WITH CEILING DIFFUSERS

Also if the ceiling diffusers are the “nearest” diffusers for reaching theoptimal air diffusion in the rooms, these maintain some specific problemsduring the both functioning settings (heating and cooling)

During the Cooling (summer season) the possibility to activate the high inductioneffect is strictly connected to the Coanda effect (also named “ceiling effect”)which allows to the primary air to stay to the ceiling level avoiding to enter quicklyin the occupation zone.

In presence of wall or parts of the room exposed at the sun (e.g. for the presenceof windows) this will influence the behavior of the primary air, which goesupwards.

In this situation the primary air doesn‘t reach the wall sunny exposed and thisbring to concentrate the air jet on the wall opposed and it is important that the airthat reach this side of the room doesn‘t enter quickly in the occupancy zone (verydifficult to regulate because the change of the temperature depends on the sunirradiation)

OneAir – DIFFUSION WITH CEILING DIFFUSERS

During the Heating (winter season) we will have the same conditions butwith a situation of air stratification, that means different verticaltemperatures inside the room. .

This brings to have air currents inside the occupancy zone and a situationof discomfort for the people present inside the room.

Page 12: Metal and textile perforated air ducts

OneAir – DIFFUSION PERFORATED DIFFUSERSThe perforated air ducts allow to maximize the high induction effect. This depends on the possibility to usethe entire surface of the duct for diffusing the air inside the room. Through the high induction the whole airquantity present inside the room (primary air and existing air) has moved and this movement mixes thesetwo components of the room air permitting to reach the temperature homogeneity and an high level ofcomfort through the control of the air speed in the occupancy area.

The primary air in the perforated air diffuser is composed by several micro air jets and this allow to reach thecomfort level because the air is not concentrate in few specific points but it's diffused on the entire room

OneAir – LIDL APPLICATION Starting from the standard configuration defined byLIDL, see the two pictures beside, we have shownhow the use of the perforated air ducts can improvethe level of comfort compared with the ceilingdiffusers.

According this it has been selected a configurationas that indicated in the second pictures

The system for air diffusion inside the shops hasbeen configurated dividing the primary air on 6 linesof diffusers, with diameter 550 mm and length inthe range of 18-20 mt, positioned with a paralelorientation to the angle of inclination of the roof ofthe shop. The perforated diffusers have beenpositioned inside the shop considering the productslayout. Indeed for the open fridge expositors thepresence of air diffuser above those has beenavoided.

According the technical data ofthe AHU used and the spaceconfiguration, ONEAIR throughits CFD Software (ComputationalFluid Dynamics) and itsexperience has developed theconfiguration of the perforationto apply on the metal airdiffusers. Here some detail of thetechnical specifications releasedby the CFD.

The metal diffusers are paintedwith the selected colours (RAL9010 for the diffusers and RAL7024 for the air transport line)
