MESSIAH LUTHERAN CHURCH

Dear Friends in Christ,

May is a month of transitions at Messiah. During May we wish God's bless-ings, thanks and farewell upon Charis. We celebrate Messiah's Confirm-ands and Graduates as they transition to a new phase in their faith/life. Fi-nally we transition from Spring to Summer; from school to vacation; from planting to growth; from God's amazing grace to God's amazing grace.

Thanks And God's Blessings To Charis!

As Charis completes her three-plus years of ministry at Messiah I want to express my deepest appreciation and thanks! She has been an amazing team minister with me; has shown maturity and faith beyond her years; has served with great humility never promoting herself; has deepened the spiritu-al life of our kids and adults through her amazing teaching, preaching, gentle love for others and prayers; has demonstrated confidentiality and trust with me and the Council; has kept the focus of her life and ministry firmly on Je-sus and Jesus alone. Thanks Charis—we are going to deeply miss you!

God's marriage blessings to you and Nathan on your new life together!

Congratulations To Confirmands Affirming Their Faith In Jesus!

On May 15 Messiah celebrates Confirmation at the 9:30 worship. The stu-dents who have completed their two years of instruction and who are affirm-ing their faith in Jesus are Kali Johnson and Kaitlyn Sanstead. Congratu-lations and God's blessings upon these two wonderful people of faith.

Amazing Worship Attendance/Involvement!

It was very exciting to have nearly 350 people worshipping at Messiah on Easter Sunday with an amazing 244 worshipping a couple weeks later on April 10. In 2015 Messiah's average worship over all Sundays was 145 people—in 2016 these numbers are sure to rise. God is certainly doing miraculous and wonderful things in Messiah's worship each week. Make sure you don't miss these Sunday morning happenings—and make sure you invite a friend(s) to come with you!

Messiah's Worship Live-Streamed!

Messiah's worship is live-streamed each Sunday at sundaystreams.com/go/messiahhoffman. Our congregation is now paying for this service so there is no longer any advertisements. You can also click this link on Messiah's website. Please let others know about this—thanks!

God is so good!

Pastor Nathan
