This appointment fills a critical need as the committee carries on its search for Bobby Butler’s successor. Travis will continue in this role until the Upward season is finished. The position is part time. Currently, Travis is Director of the Semmes Senior Center. He has served as Recreation Minister of Outdoor Sports at Bellevue Baptist Church, as College Center Minister and Director (also at Bellevue), and as Campus College Director at the University of Montevallo. He is a graduate of the University of Mobile and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Travis and Jennifer have been married for six years. Jennifer is a teacher at Allentown Elementary School. They are the proud parents of Amelia Faith (3) and Brady Travis (21 months). We will introduce Travis and Jennifer during the Sunday service. Please make a point to give them a warm welcome!
