A New, Flexible and User-Friendly SystemInternational fashion companies need an overview of design, production, and sales activities, and Message is no exception. Message is a wholesale and retail company based in Denmark, with 23 shops in Denmark and 2 in Norway, and a market in many other European countries. To get a better overview of their international activities, they introduced TRIMIT Fashion as their new ERP system in 2008.

“Our previous ERP was a UNIX-based system that was no longer supported,” Dan Andersen explains. “We needed a new, flexible and user-friendly system that matched the needs of a growing company. The system had to be up-gradable and easy to adapt and we must be able to collect key figures and data to support the company’s growth.”

It handles everything on an international basis, giving Message a great overview of every process from design and production to final delivery. TRIMIT also correlates data, key figures, and makes it easy to follow up on customers and different brands.

Saving TimeAdditionally, TRIMIT has automated many manual pro-cesses in Message’s daily work. “With our old system we often had to do things three times and use home-made spreadsheets to analyze our data,” says Dan Andersen. “Now, when we type in a set of data once, it’s available in the entire system. And it’s both fast and easy to create a new brand in TRIMIT as well as establish new products.”

Experienced Consultants - A Decisive FactorChoosing a new ERP-system was not something Message did lightly. Dan Andersen says: “We were very careful in analyzing our needs and internal processes before we asked six different suppliers to present a solution.”

In the end they narrowed the field down to two different Microsoft Dynamics NAV-based systems, and at that point CORNATOR’s sales consultant became the decisive factor. “Their industry knowledge and well-informed consultants meant that we chose CORNATOR and TRIMIT.
