This, my third term as your Exalted

Ruler is quickly coming to a close. It has

been an honor for Carole and I to have

served. Memories are many and thankfully

most of them are pleasant. I feel confident

that our Lodge is on a firm financial footing

and your newly elected officers and Board of

Directors have a solid understanding of what

has to be done to continue to move the

Lodge forward to attain our goals. Good

Luck to Paul Diaz and to all his support staff for the 2017-2018 year.

The general consensus was that the “El Schneider Memorial

Dinner and Fund Raiser” was a BIG SUCCESS. Your Lodge

cleared approximately $ 14,000.00 from the event. Next year this event

will be held on February 17, 2018. Mark your calendars and save the

date. Next year’s celebration will surely sell out again.

Finally, I wish to thank all of you volunteers and

staff who have worked so hard to bring about success for our Lodge.

Yours in Elkdom

Dennis J. Ryan, Exalted Ruler

the close of business on March 31, 2017. Check your pockets and

personal commitments to God, Family and Country, nor do we ask anyone to act in any manner contrary to

the dictates of conscience. We do not permit religious or political differences to intrude into organizational

considerations at the local, district, state or national levels.

Sincerely and Fraternally,

PDDGER, Secretary

To the Membership Pat and I would like to thank everyone who purchased and or sold tickets for the El Schneider Memorial Fundraiser. Through your efforts we were able to raise almost $7000 dollars for the El Schneider Memorial Fund, which will go to improving and maintaining the Lodge building and property. We also raised approximately $7000 dollars from the Gala Dinner held on February 18th which will also be used for the same pur-pose. I would like to give a special thanks PDD Les Owen, ER Dennis Ryan, Carol and Joe Palowich, Michelle and Al Klager, Yolander Sulli-van, Tom Michaels, Cynthia Noonan and Pat Diaz for selling 10 or more tickets. All these people reached the bonus level and received dinner tick-ets or raffle tickets as a prize. Pat and I would also like to thank our committee members, Den-nis Ryan, Jim Wilson, Tex McClurken, Guy Bacci, Phil Hanley, Les Ow-en, Jim Rannazzisi, Cynthia Noonan, and Joe And Carol Palowich, All help given, whether it was great or small was largely appreciated. We could not have done this without our wonderful Volunteers. Overall both the raffle and Dinner were a complete success and we are looking forward to next year. Mark your calendars for February 17th 2018. Thank you, Paul Diaz, PER, Leading Knight
