Message from the Chairman
Dear colleagues and participants,
I take this opportunity to invite you to attend our first Medical Oncology Board Review Course, which will be held on 14-15 November 2015, in King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, Riyadh.
It is intended to update participants to the state of the art knowledge about most common cancers. During this course, we will have presentations on common cancers regarding basic knowledge, current practice, and the most recent evidence based advance in cancer management. We intend that this condensed review course will help Oncology fellows to prepare for their exams. There will be a special session for multiple choices questions as a part of preparation for the Saudi Medical Oncology Board Exam. During this session, participant will explore real clinical scenarios and will have the opportunity for interaction with experts.

Goals & Objectives Review the basic knowledge, the current standards, and the most recent applicable diagnostic and
therapeutic modalities in fields of medical oncology and hematology. Effectively prepare the attendees for the final exam of Saudi Board of Medical Oncology. Provide MCQs based questions (in board examination format) based on some clinical scenarios.
Target Audience Medical Oncology fellows applying for Medical Oncology Board Certification Exams,
Hematology fellows, Internists, and Clinical Hematologists and Hemato-pathologists.
Educational Materials A copy of PowerPoint presentations and MCQs will be provided.
CME Certificates and Attendance The course is accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) with CME hours.
Registration Information Online registration is accessible thru Saudi Oncology Society website;
http://www.saudioncology.org/ Deadline to submit your registration will be October 15th, 2015.
Registration is free for all medical oncologists. Other specialties should bay SAR200.
