Getting ADM Objective data

Once you have put all the information into your objective sheets, you will need to use ADM to gather the actual TAKS objective results for each student.

This information can be added to your files on the computer, or you can print your files and add it by hand.

Opening ADM

Double click on your “My computer” icon on your desktop.

Double click on the T drive (T for “Testing”)

Find SVHS

Double click on the folder named “ADM TAKS”

Double click on the “TAKS 2007” folder

You need to set up your computer to run the data. Double click the ASE Run-Time Enabler folder

For the FIRST TIME you run this on your computer only -

Type the number 1 and click OK.

Enter Find Mode

Since you have your data organized by class periods, you will use the “Find Mode” to first find your class roster of students.

Click on “Enter Find Mode”

Search for teacher and period

You are going to click on the “present teacher” and “period” box for your subject.

When you click on these boxes, you will see a list appear…

Choose your name (if you are searching in TAKS data) or your teacher code (if you are searching in CBA/Benchmark data) and the appropriate class period from the dropdown lists.

Next – perform your find

Now you can click on “Find” or “Perform Find”

Choose the present teacher for your subject

This area shows the number correct by objective out of the number of items tested.Take these number for your Objective Color Code Sheet.

Overall percentage - this score can be used for your CBA test grade score.
