The occasion was graced by presence of Dr. Sayed Zafar Mahmood, IRS (President, Zakat Foundation of India), Mr. Ali Quraishi, Mr. Jahangir Nagree, Mrs. Shakira Nagree, Dr. Abdul Waheed, Dr. Abdul Gani Dalvi, Mr. Nooruddin Naik and Mr. Mehtab Shaikh. Engineering Students Get-together was held on 9th March 2016 which was attended by 50 students and by some parents and MESCOites. Aptitude Test of 52 students, for class X and XII, were conducted on 29th March 2016 at MES Crescent English High School, Mumbra. Get-together & Dinner was organized on 5th March 2016 and attended by 36 donors at Islam Gymkhana. A short documentary film “Ek Aur Koshish” was screened with an appeal for funding MESCO Education Society’s upcoming School at TMC allotted plot in Mumbra. CRESCENT ENGLISH HIGH SCHOOL Women's Day was observed on 8th March 2016 and school Women teachers were honored with a small token to acknowledge their dedication. Science Exhibition was held on 14th March 2016, occasion of World Science Day by displaying the projects and teaching Aids made by the students and teachers. At MESCO there is a conscious effort taken to trigger young minds on scientific issues, sports and extracurricular activities and also to make them aware of health issues that affect them during their growing and formative career years. The R. C. Mahim School of MCGM which is adopted by MESCO had organized its Annual Day and was graced by dignitaries and guests from the academic fraternity. Lectures, Work Education Exhibitions, Seminars and Competitions were organized. The MESCO family observed various days like the International Women's Day, World Science Day, Urdu Day, World Kidney Day and Balak Utsav. The Medical aid continues as efforts to address comprehensive and holistic development of the beneficiaries with events like the Eye Camps, Kidney Share & Care Program and the services through the Mobile and Static Clinics. Engaging the women from various communities in optimizing their financial independence and reducing poverty, the organization distributed sewing machines. We are growing in every field as an organization, with the support from many who have been strengthening our hands to reach out to the most in need in the populations. Another feather in MESCO's cap has been the listing on the Bombay Stock Exchange Website as part of the BSE SAMMAN initiative. In February the World CSR Conference awarded us a Certificate of Merit as Good NGO. MESCO also received Certificate of Accreditation from Credibility Alliance under Desirable Norms for a period of five years (2016-21). MESCO's relentless efforts to pass benefits not only to its end beneficiaries but also to the donors materialized in the form of 35 AC Certificate (100% Tax Exemption) from the Income Tax Department for some of our projects. As an organization we are growing and hope that the Almighty keeps us going with support and love that we are receiving from all the quarters. MESCO & MESCO EDUCATION SOCIETY HAVE GOT PROJECTS - SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME (MESCO) & SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION OF SCHOOL AND SETTING UP VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTRE (MES). DONORS FOR THESE PROJECTS WILL QUALIFY FOR 100% I.T. EXEMPTION.

Education DepartmentMESCO felicitated 124 Top Ranking students at Felicitation Function on 9th January 2016. The occasion was graced by presence of Dr. Sayed Zafar Mahmood, IRS (President, Zakat Foundation of India), Mr. Ali Quraishi, Mr. Jahangir Nagree, Mrs. Shakira Nagree, Dr. Abdul Waheed, Dr. Abdul Gani Dalvi, Mr. Nooruddin Naik and Mr. Mehtab Shaikh. QUARTER FULL OF ACTIVITIESQUARTER FULL OF ACTIVITIES

on 15th March 2016 at Wankhade Stadium were sponsored by “Book My Show” team and facilitated by Concern India Foundation under “BOOK A SMILE” program; we are grateful to them, 17 students of the school witnessed. Ms. Aarti Kakad (Sharp NGO) conducted a Health Awareness session on 'Effects of Tobacco' on 23rd March 2016.

ANGELS' PARADISE NURSERY SCHOOLSAnnual Sports were held on 13th February 2016 at M.E.S. Nursery Schools at Angels’ Paradise Nursery School, Kurla. Mrs. Hamida Shaikh, Asst. Supt, conducted the Workshop on 'Preparing Teaching Aids' on 27th February, 2016. Puppet Show was organized for students at Govandi – l, Nursery School on 13th March 2016.

MES Vocational Training CentreAnnual Sports & Cultural Activities (Indoor and outdoor games like Chess, Carrom, Essay writing, Elocution, Singing, Rangoli, Skipping, Kho Kho, Kabaddi, Racing, Cricket, Volley ball, Sack race, Lemon & spoon race) were organized for the students of MESVTC on 4th and 5th March 2016. Godrej Disha programme for the 228 pass-out students of various Extension Centers of Fr. Agnel Technical College, was held on 12th February 2016.

R.C. MAHIM MUNICIPAL URDU SCHOOL Annual Day function was held for Students of Primary, Secondary & D.Ed. College was graced with presence of Dr. Mudassir Lambe, Beat Officer, Mrs. Raeesa Gudakuwala and Mr. Mansoor Ahmed, Co-Director of Jamaitul Muslimin, on 5th January 2016, and for D.T. Ed. students on 16th March 2016. Balak Utsav was held on 7th January 2016 for primary section students. A Seminar for D.Ed. students on MS-CIT was attended by 48 students on 23rd March 2016. Urdu Day Celebration was held on 28th March 2016 for the students. The occasion was graced by the presence of Mr. Gulam Peshimam (Proprietor, Al-Samit International), Mrs. Raeesa Gudakuwala (Beat Officer), Mrs. Rasheeda Qazi and Mr. Mudassir Patel.

Three Free Eye Check-up Camps were conducted at the MESCO static clinics on 14th & 28th February, 2016 and 30th March 2016, during which 232 patients were checked. Spectacles at concession rate were provided to 61 cases while 13 were referred for Cataract Surgery. There were 24 new cases detected with refractory errors. The organization is thankful to, Mr. Moiz Kachwala and Mr. Raza of Optometrists-Health Care Trust for extending their professional services.

“Kidney Share and Care” programme was arranged on the occasion of World Kidney Day at R. C. Mahim Municipal School on 27th March 2016 for 80 dialysis patients. Dr. Sandip Bhurke, Nephrologist from National Kidney Foundation (India) delivered an informative lecture.
