The prizes First prize: For your school - a vegetable growing kit made up of a propagator to start off your seeds; a 2mx1m raised bed where you can grow your vegetables; a selection of Johnsons vegetable seeds; Westland seed & cutting and multi-purpose compost; and a range of children’s gardening tools. For you - a £20 Merryhatton gift voucher.

Second prize: £15 Merryhatton voucher. Third prize: £10 Merryhatton voucher.

How to enter We’d like you to create a garden in a shoebox. You can either line your shoebox with plastic, fill it with compost, plants and anything else you like. Or you can use craft materials to create your shoebox garden out of paper, card, whatever you fancy. It’s up to you what theme you choose. Just be creative! You should attach the completed form below to your shoebox garden and hand it in to Merryhatton Garden Centre between 9am on 23 March and 5.30pm on 7 April. We’ll put them on display for everyone to see. The winners will be announced on 9 April. You’ll find full details at www.merryhatton.co.uk.
