Dear Church Family, Our family would like to say a big thank you to each of you for the cards, calls and most of all the prayers. We have felt your love, comfort and support during my brother’s illness and recent death. Collene Dalrymple

Children's Corner

The month of December our theme is:

"PUT A BOW ON IT" All month long we will be talking about Joy. So often we try to find joy through our things,

vacations or relationships, but joy isn't dependent upon any of these things. Joy is about being content beyond our circumstances. We can have joy when we recognize that God's plan is greater than our own. Joy is a response to our trust in God. " Always be joyful because you belong to the Lord. I will say it again, Be joyful!" Philippians 4:4

Upcoming Children’s Events

Dec. 24th—Family Christmas Eve Service, 4:00 pm. The

children will be doing some special parts in the program. We

hope to see you there. Merry Christmas!!

January 1st - KidsTime starts at its regular time.

We had a good turnout Friday night for our parent night out/pizza

pajama party. It was a fun night full of games, arts, crafts, cookie

decorating, lots of goodies and a movie, too. Hope it was helpful

to you parents, too!! I want to say thank you to my wonderful

team of volunteers, they are awesome!! I want to wish you a very

Merry Christmas!!

Blessings, Ms. Shannon

Looking ahead…. In January, our theme is Brain games and we will be learning all about knowledge. Knowledge is a response to the character of God. Jesus helps us know God better. If you want to know who God is and how God loves, look to Jesus. We will take a closer look at the way knowledge shows up throughout the gospels. Our memory verse comes from Psalm 119:105; “Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light for my path.”

We hope everyone has an awesome Christmas season! We have a lot planned so be on the lookout!! ● January 1st - New Year’s Day Party, 11:45a - 1:00p ● January 8th - Parent Meeting, 5:30p; Nerf War 6:00p

No Youth this Wednesday.

The Monday Night Bible Study group chose to help a family for Christmas that had recently lost everything in a fire. The family consists of Brianna Sanders and her two children, Kenley, age six and

Kason, age two. She plans to use the gift cards for Christmas. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this cause.

Celebration, Memorial and

Honorarium Flowers

One of the most thoughtful ways to memorialize or honor

someone special or to celebrate a special occasion is placing flowers on the church altar table to commemorate the occasion or person.

All you need to do is: 1. Call Jo Beth Donnelly (memorial captain) at 478-452-3285 or the

church office to communicate your desire to give commemorative flowers or reserve a date on the flower calendar. You will also need to communicate in writing the message you would like printed in the Sunday Worship Bulletin on the reserved date. The verbiage should be specific and limited to fit in the space for the bulletin announcement.

2. Once the date has been reserved, you will contact the florist of your choice to make the purchase, design the arrangement and schedule the delivery (check with Jo Beth on guidelines).
