Using iPad, applications like Scratch Jr, Kodable, Light bot, and Bloxels coupled with hands-on board games that promote social problem-solving, CodeFu's TK-2 Dojo teaches students the computational logic of Computer Science / coding, including providing them with an introduction into a number of block-based coding languages.
In this session students will focus on using their imagination as well as creativity to create their own advanced games and animations, which will provide students with an introduction into computational logic skills and basic programming languages - “the Art of CodeFu”, helping your student succeed in numerous areas outside this enrichment program, including Math, Computers, Engineering, Science, Robotics.

THE TRUE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT! The Kindergarten class had their time to shine at the Elementary Chapel on Wednesday. As their smiles beamed from the stage, dressed in their Christmas best, they sang loud for all to hear. Their voices echoed throughout the gym and the message of Jesus’ birth was a great reminder of who and why we celebrate Christmas!

‘TIS THE SEASON TO GIVE! Mrs. Backues’ 3-year-old class did a book exchange with their friends this week! As Christmas brings a season of giving, it was a great opportunity for students to learn about giving and receiving gifts. They were excited to both give a book away and receive a new one in return!

HOPE IN THE STREETS CHRISTMAS OUTREACH — Our next Hope in the Streets event will be an outreach to families in need in Escondido on Saturday, December 21, 2019. The event will be held at Cross Connection Church, 1675 Seven Oaks Road, Escondido, CA, 92026. We will meet at Maranatha Chapel at 10am or you are welcome to meet us at Cross Connection at 10:30am. The event will begin at 12:00pm. We will distribute Christmas toys, groceries, clothing and other items.
