SECTION 4: FIRST AID MEASURES (a) Eyes Irrigate immediately with copious quantities of water for several

minutes. Obtain medical attention urgently. (b) Skin Wash immediately with soap and water or other suitable skin

cleanser. Remove contaminated clothing immediately. Obtain medical advice if skin disorders develop. (c) Inhalation Remove individual from further exposure. (d) Ingestion Wash out mouth with water. Obtain medical attention. Do NOT

induce vomiting.

Health Effects On eyes : Irritation and injury to eye tissue if not removed promptly On skin : Irritation. By inhalation : Causes respiratory irritation. Inflammation of the nasal mucous membrane by exposure to cement dust. By ingestion : May cause irritation to mouth, throat and digestive tract. Chronic : Respirable dust, if inhaled over a prolonged period, constitutes a health hazard. Inhalation of particles of free silica, in the respirable range, can give rise to fibrosis of the lungs. .
