Your Voice, Sept. 11 edi-tion, page 7:
Over 200 people turned out to watch our double feature! The fist film was the debut of our Bahama Fun Run video, fol-lowed by The Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. All who attended en-joyed cheeseburgers in para-dise with drinks and popcorn on the side!
We were delighted to be joined by our own District 4 County Commissioner, John Haddox with his beautiful gal, Chris, by his side.
Rick Kozell, candidate for Dist. 18 US House of Representa-tives, also dropped in and helped serve hamburgers and hot dogs with our excellent chef from La Borgato, Joe!
We enjoyed the evening with all
of you and invite you to join our mailing list to stay in-formed of all our upcoming fun events by submitting your e-mail at: http://meridianmarina.com/newsletter.html.
Boat-In Movie Night & BBQ was a “Best Bet for Fun” in Martin County on Sept. 18-20
Sept. 16, 2015 - It’s not every day or every community that has drive-in movies and free barbecue on the water. Tim Mullen, owner of The Meridian Marina & Yacht Club, located on the banks of the St. Lucie River at 1400 S.W. Chapman Way in Palm City, is inviting everyone, boaters and landlubbers alike, for complimentary burgers, drinks, popcorn and a viewing of “Pirates of The Caribbean: The Curse of The Black Pearl” on a 16-foot jumbotron. The food kicks off at 6 p.m. and the movie will start about 7 p.m. Saturday. If you are arriving by boat, Meridian is at marker 27, on the south fork of the St. Lucie River. If you go by land, bring a blanket or lawn chair and find a spot on the dock. Mullen made it clear this is not a members only event. He couldn’t be more welcoming, encouraging everyone to get social at this family-friendly event. By Ginny Beagan, TCPalmSocial columnist
