Assembly Instruction and Manual:

CAUTION! Place BBQ-Fireplace on safe, stable, plane and firm ground! CAUTION! Do not move during use! Make sure brakes on castors are applied CAUTION! This BBQ-Fireplace will get very hot! – Danger, do not touch! CAUTION! Do not use indoor! Only for outdoor use! CAUTION! Do not use liquid lighters, fuel or other inflammable fluids for lighting! – Do not use Gas CAUTION! Keep children, pets or people under alcohol/drugs away from fireplace CAUTION! Do not use in strong winds! CAUTION! Do not modify or tamper with construction of BBQ-Fireplace CAUTION! Do not use unattended IMPORTANT SAFTY INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Setup: The BBQ-Fireplace must be set up on a safe, plane and firm ground. Burning materials: The BBQ-Fireplace must only be used with dry firewood (dried for 2 years) or charcoal. Best utilization is given by well dried firewood or charcoal. Other burning materials may damage the fireplace and pollute the environment. The maximum amount of fuel is 1 kg charcoal or 3 kg firewood, respectively. Warranty is voided, if the fireplace will be run with unsuitable burning materials.

2. Risk of burning! Make sure that no one, especially children and pets, will touch or get into close contact with the BBQ-Fireplace while it is used. The surfaces of the BBQ-Fireplace get’s very hot. Children and teenager under 16 years are not allowed to use the fireplace without supervison of an adult.

3. DANGER: Do not use liquid lighters like spirit, petrol or similar highly inflammable materials. The liquids will drop into the ash tray and funnel under the bottom panel. This will be a serious explosion hazard and danger of burning. If any kind of liquid lighters are used, no warranty is given. It is also forbidden to pour inflammable liquids onto the fire ash or glow, during and after the entire BBQ or Fire - Danger of flash fire!

4. The heat-resistant paint will harden after a few hours of operation. Therefore burn the fireplace

carefully and raise the temperature slowly. An odor from the paint is inevitable and normal during the first hours of operation and the hardening of the paint. During this time the paint must not be touched to avoid damage. Before first use as a barbecue grill the fireplace must be heated with glowing charcoal for at least 30 min.

Before the first use, the fireplace must be heated up and the fuel of firewood has to glow through for at least 30 minutes.

5. Do not put barbeque food on the cooking grill until the firewood or charcoal is covered with white ash.

6. The ash tray (2) should be emptied after each use.

Remove the BBQ stainless steel cooking grill (7) if not in use and the fireplace is used as chimney. This is to avoid damages on it.

7. Wood-shelf:

CAUTION! Put only small amounts of firewood into the lower wood-shelf. Do NOT keep any highly flammable materials in the wood-shelf! Due to heat radiation during use of the fireplace this will be a risk of fire.

8. The BBQ-Fireplace is only for outdoor use. It is NOT suitable for indoor use!

Keep safe and adequate distance between the BBQ-Fireplace and inflammable materials. Setup: The fireplace will be delivered on a pallet and has to be set up before the first use. The complete base is already preassembled. Please remove packaging carefully. Now, lift the fireplace from the pallet. Remove the packing from the inner and outer hood (8 and 9) and fit the hoods with notches to the front. The inner hood will be fixed with four screws (16) on the body (4). The outer hood will be installed over the inner hood (9) and also fixed with four screws (16) at the upper rim of the inner hood. Set up the chimney (10) on the waterproof ring (15) – preassembled on the outer hood (9) and fix it with 3 screws (16) on the waterproof ring (15). Insert the chimney top cover (11) on the outer chimney (10).

Storage: Store the BBQ-Fireplace in safe secure place and protect it from strong winds. To minimize weathering conditions of your BBQ-Fireplace, we recommend protecting it, if not used, with a protection cover (available as an optional accessory). The cover may only be used once the fireplace is completely cooled down. Do not put on hot fireplace. The fireplace should be stored in a dry and roofed place during fall and winter months. Paintwork: Avoid scratching the steel and fireproof paint during assembly and use of the fireplace. This fireproof paint is no corrosion protection; therefore no guarantee of corrosion is included in the warranty. In case of possible scratches you may use special heat resistant oven paint (spray can) to close the steel surface again. You may do the same if paint comes off during cleaning procedures of the fireplace. Oven paint: for example SENOTHERM Color: Cast Grey (Guss Grau) Item 17-1644-703.571 - spray can 400 ml - www.senotherm.com Stainless Steel items are not guaranteed to be stainless or rust free and should be protected from high humidity / water and salty coastal environment.   Attention: The change of color (blue) of the stainless steel due to extensive heat is normal. It is no reason for a claim and not in included in the warranty. Bricks: The back and bottom bricks (13 + 14) are expendable parts, which are exposed to heat and weathering conditions. They have to be renewed in due time when necessary. For these expendable parts no warranty applies. In case of warranty or replacement- and supply order, contact your local dealer.
