The MEP Assist team of independent estimators, cost consultants and

schedulers have worked with each other on numerous projects

including classified and sensitive projects for the DOS and DOD. The

level of clearances that some of the consultants have include HSPD-12,

Secret and Top Secret. We also have the knowledge and experience of

working with the different formats and requirements of the various

government agencies at both the state and federal level. This

experience extends into having worked with the many software

systems including Success, MCACES II, MC2 ICE, Richardson, RSMeans,

BLCC5, MS Project and Primavera.

The services we provide include estimating, life cycle and cost benefit

analysis, master planning, constructability reviews, value engineering,

bid analysis, scheduling, change order preparation and review. We have

experience working on a wide range of project types including medical

facilities, airports, higher education, grade schools, data centers,

laboratories, multi-residential, government, courthouses, museums,

transportation, central plants, cogen facilities, manufacturing, military,

and overseas embassies.

MEP Assist, a division of Kisent Corporation, was formed to provide an

integrated group of highly qualified MEP professionals on an as needed

basis. We are a group of consultants with extensive backgrounds in

estimating, scheduling and construction, that specialize in assisting

clients with the cost and analysis of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing ,

Fire Protection and Low Voltage systems. Our experience is in all

aspects of estimating and cost analysis from feasibility studies to final

construction.

Bruce Lyall, CCP, LEED AP BD+C

Principal / Lead Electrical Consultant

Bruce has over 35 years of experience in the estimating, design and construction industry. He is an accomplished Estimator and Project Manager with a strong background in all of the disciplines and has in-depth knowledge of green building cost, life cycle cost analysis and cost benefit analysis.

He is a Certified Cost Professional with the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International and LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design & Construction with the U.S. Green Building Council.

Bruce has worked for some of the largest contractors in the electrical and mechanical industry including Hunt Electric Corporation, American Technologies, ANECO and more. During his 25 years in contracting, Bruce worked as an electrician, estimator, project manager, chief estimator, pre-construction manager and operations manager. His experience was with all types of projects including medical facilities, commercial buildings, industrial facilities, manufacturing, and process plants.

Robbyn Glisson, PE

Lead Mechanical Consultant Robbyn has over 25 years of experience in the estimating, design and construction industry. She is an accomplished Estimator and Project Manager with a strong background in mechanical and electrical disciplines. Robbyn also has extensive experience in green building cost, value engineering and designing to budget.

Robbyn is a registered Professional Engineer and her extensive on-site career coupled with her design capabilities make her especially effective in the early stages of estimating conceptual and schematic designs. She is a member of ASME.

During her 25 years working for the both mechanical and general contractors, she has worked as a mechanic, a field engineer, a project manager, estimator, change manager and pre-construction manager. She has experience with all types of projects including BSL laboratories, pharmaceutical plants, medical, educational, government and commercial buildings. She has worked throughout the United States on a wide variety of complex projects.

David Mazzullo, CCP

Lead Mechanical Consultant

David has over 20 years of experience in the estimating, design and construction industry. He is an accomplished Estimator and Project Manager with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, underground utilities, interiors and other disciplines of the design and construction industry.

He is a Certified Cost Professional with the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International (AACEI) and an active member of the AACEI National Capital Section.

David has worked for contractors; construction cost management firms including DMS International and for SmithGroup, one of the largest design firms in the United States. His experience is with all types of projects including medical facilities, laboratories, commercial buildings, universities, grade schools, government facilities, central plants and defense facilities. David has estimating experience in both design submission budgets and the preparation of subcontractor bids.

Bryce Russell Lead Scheduling Consultant

Bryce has over 20 years of construction and 8 years of general industry experience with an emphasis on the planning and scheduling of time sensitive and complex phasing projects. He is an accomplished scheduler, project controls manager, assistant safety director, estimator and quality control inspector.

Bryce has worked for contractors; construction cost and scheduling management firms and energy companies on projects throughout the United States and overseas. His experience is with a wide range of projects in the Commercial, Industrial, Public Transportation, and Federal sectors.

Bryce is recognized in the industry for his ability to manage CPM scheduling needs for Design, Pre-Construction & Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Facilities Maintenance Phases of a project. He provides Critical Path Method (CPM) Development, Analysis, Updating, and Recovery Schedule services.

Bill Forrest Senior Mechanical Estimator / Consultant

Bill has over 17 years of working in the mechanical contracting industry as a Project Engineer, Estimator and Project Manager on a wide variety of projects. He has extensive experience with working on complex mechanical systems in clean room manufacturing, data centers, laboratories, airports and sensitive government facilities.

Bill has worked for some of the largest contractors in the mechanical industry including Trautman & Shreve, Inc. (an EMCOR company), John J. Kirlin, Inc. and U.S. Engineering Company. He has also worked as a cost consultant and has experience in both conceptual design submission budgets and the preparation of subcontractor bids on projects throughout the United States and overseas.

Albert (Al) Broomans

Senior Electrical Estimator / Consultant

Al has over 25 years of working in the electrical contracting industry. He is an accomplished Estimator and Project Manager with in depth experience of working on a wide variety of projects from the concept and bidding stage through the construction and final project closeout. Al has hands on knowledge of the costs associated with working in the Chicago region.

In addition to working for some of the largest electrical contractors in the Chicago area, Al also worked for Construction Cost Systems, an independent cost consulting firm. His experience is with all types of projects including medical facilities, assisted living facilities, airports, commercial buildings, universities, grade schools, government facilities, retail, central plants and water treatment facilities.

Before working as an estimator and project manager, Al worked in the field for ten years, climbing up the ranks from apprentice to general foreman. He holds a Journeyman “A” Card and is a former member of IBEW Local 134.

A mixed use revitalization project in lower town St. Paul that included 5 levels of underground parking, 3 levels of retail mall, movie theaters, 4 levels of commercial space, a 10 story atrium, and twin apartment/condo towers (47 and 35 stories) spread over an entire city block. National Harbor... A multi-use waterfront development on the Potomac River near Washington, D.C. The complex includes a convention center, hotels, condos, offices, retail stores, restaurants, night clubs, a marina and the National Children's Museum.

Water and Waste Water Treatment Facilities Experience in both domestic drinking water and waste water treatment facilities. We have worked

on the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process piping, instrumentations and controls for new facilities as well as maintenance and expansion projects.

Projects included all of the mechanical and electrical for the reservoir, disinfection building, influent pump station, vortex separator and force mains. Manufacturing and Automation Experience in the complex requirements of a manufacturing facility and automation systems.

Partial List of Projects Tesa Tape Plant, IL... State of the art tape manufacturing facility included solvent storage (hazardous area), manufacturing, solvent recovery, an incineration system, and room pressure differential controls. Work included a 15KV service and distribution and extensive process and control systems. Dana Axle-Spicer Division Assembly Plant, KY.... This large axle assembly plant included (7) assembly lines, a water treatment plant, (26) loading docks, extensive bus duct and automated material handling in a 400,000 square foot building. Barbers Point Ship Unloading Facility, Hawaii.... The facility consisted of a mobile ship unloading unit, dust collection systems and 2 mile overland conveyor (to the coal power plant). The facility had an extensive PLC system allowing the entire process of ship unloading and overland conveyance to be done with only two control operators. Rolls-Royce Turbine Facilities.... Various expansion projects at facilities in Virginia and Indiana for the jet engine turbine manufacturing facilities.

Industrial Plants Experience in both industrial plants and foundries and the type of construction that is associated

with these types of facilities. We have worked on projects with a wide variety of systems including gas, fuel, steam, solvents, chemicals, process water, waste water, high, medium and low voltage electrical distribution, instrumentation and controls.
