i
Introduction The California Mentoring Directory is a current list of mentoring, tutoring, and academic programs for children. Its purpose is to serve as a resource to mentoring programs, coalitions, indirect mentoring service providers, and individuals interested in getting involved in mentoring. It also expedites distribution of relevant mentoring information via email such as grant and funding opportunities, mentoring program resources, conferences, trainings and more. Questionnaire completion will also be required in order to participate in free trainings or receive free technical assistance provided by CARS. If for some reason your contact information changes, you can update it at anytime. Please indicate whether your organization is a Mentoring Program, Mentoring Partner, or Mentoring Coalition. The following definitions are provided to assist in determining organization type.
• Mentoring Program - a program that is school or community-based and conducts either one-to-one, group, team, or e-mentoring directly with youth.
• Mentoring Partner - An organization that helps to support the mission of direct-service mentoring programs in critical areas such as volunteer recruitment, information and resource dissemination, or research.
• Mentoring Coalition - A collaboration or partnership of mentoring programs.
If you are interested in having your organization/program included in the directory or would like to update your program information visit http://www.emt.org/ment_DirectoryForm.htm. Thank you. How To Locate a Partner Organization Partner listings follow the Program listings. They are listed in alphabetical order by county and then by organization.
