Dear Parents, We hope that everyone has a wonderful, relaxing winter break with their family and friends. It is truly a GIFT for me to serve as the principal of Lake Elementary and work with the students and their families. I've en-joyed getting to know the staff and students that make Lake Elementary such an amazing school. Thank you to Mrs. Seech and PTA for their help with coordinating all of our room parents that helped make our holiday parties a huge success! The PTA book exchange was a nice touch and an opportunity for the students to exchange a small gift with each other. Thank you Ms. Hu-dock for coordinating the book exchange and a huge thanks to parents that sent in a few extra books. All of the students are encouraged to participate in our Winter Break Challenge over break. Each grade level is sending home a Winter Break Challenge to keep learning over break. We appreciate your sup-port over break to keep our students reading and/or computing in math! Winter break ushers in the holiday season including a brand new year. The New Year is a great time to make sure that all of your personal in-formation is up to date in Infinite Campus. We rely on this accurate in-formational contact in the event of an emergency or illness and so that we can communicate important school information. Have a great break and see you next year,

Lake Elementary needs to find all of the 3 and 4 year olds living in the Lake attendance area. We are for-

distributed to students with guided activities that the students can work on before entering school. The

toolbox will be filled with many great resources and is completely FREE to all future Lake Elementary

students. We would also like to invite back all of the 3 year olds from last year who were part of the pro-

gram. Our first event will take place some time in February. More details will be mailed to you after you

sign-up. If you have a 3 or 4 year old, please call Mrs. Lawrence at Lake (257-5953).
