proprio nome alla zona d’allevamento, la Val di Chiana, tra Toscana e Umbria.
Tra le sue caratteristiche la finezza delle fibre e la marezzatura, infiltrazioni di grasso
nella sua carne magrissima, che le danno un inconfondibile sapore e tenerezza.
Chianina is one of the oldest and most important beef breeds in Italy, it has its
name for the breeding area, Val di Chiana, between Tuscany and Umbria.
Among its features is the fineness of the fibers and the marezzatura, fat infiltration
in its lean meat, which give it an unmistakable flavor and tenderness.
