    Men caught cutting tags, taking merchandise at WatertownTarget

    WATERTOWN Two Boston men were arrested at Target in Watertown after they wereseen disarming security devices from clothing and electronics in an attempt to steal them.

    On Dec. 30, Edwin Roldan, 29, and Chad Thomas Grimshaw, 29, both of 1053 Tremont St.#43, Boston, were reportedly seen cutting security tags off of several items and putting theitems in their bags. According to police, the men proceeded to check out and purchased a pairof socks.

    Police reportedly detained the men as they attempted to leave the store. According toreports, they had $204.40 worth of merchandise in their bags and Roldan had three boxcutters and a pair of wire cutters.

    Roldan and Grimshaw were arrested and charged with shoplifting over $100. Roldan hadwarrants out of Somerville District Court and Weymouth District Court, both for larceny.
