Memory Basket Book Report Dear Parents, In an effort to continue promoting different genres, our upcoming book report will be in the area of fiction/fantasy. The book report will begin on March 4 th and will be due Friday, April 15th. The book should be at least 75 written pages. Memory Basket directions: 1. Select a character from your book. 2. Make a list of things that were important to that character. 3. Borrow or make a small basket. 4. Create, borrow, or find things that represent the items on your list and put these items into the basket. 5. Select three quotes from this book that "struck" you (touched you in some way.) Write each one on a note card and put it in the basket. During your presentation, you will explain why you picked these quotes and what they meant to your character. 6. Write a summary about this book. Include the beginning, middle, and end of the story. Write this on one or two note cards and place in the basket. 7. Attach a card to the basket with a ribbon including: title, author, your name, and your chosen character. 8. Be ready to present your basket where you will read your summary to the class and give an explanation as to why you selected each item and quote for your Memory Basket. 9.
